• Strengthen your extracurricular profile.

  • Competitions are vital

Participating and winning competitions is one of the key elements of a student's profile that sets them apart from others when it comes to securing the very limited spots of top-tier universities. Standing out in these events demonstrates a level of competence, work ethic and, most importantly, commitment to excellence in a specific field, far beyond that of an average student.

  • National Economics Challenge (NEC)

The National Economics Challenge (NEC) is the most influential economics competition for high school students in the U.S. It is organized by the Council for Economic Education (CEE), which aims to stimulate students' interest in economics, cultivate problem-solving skills, and build critical thinking habits.

The NEC competition covers four main areas: microeconomics, macroeconomics, international economics, and current affairs. Contrary to what many may think, the NEC does not involve overly in-depth knowledge of the fundamentals and is more reliant on students being proficient in what they already know. Therefore, while it may seem like a very competitive challenge, there is no over-the-top content that students can't handle.

The NEC is widely recognized by the U.S. academic, financial, and business communities, and more than 20% of the finalists are admitted to the world's top schools, including Harvard, Stanford, and Yale. The unique experience of participating in the NEC and the outstanding results achieved will undoubtedly maximize your college application chances.
